The ILM Level 3 Award in Service Improvement has been developed to enable learners to lead a small scale service improvement process, using a selected lean production technique, in their workplace.
To achieve this Award, learners complete two mandatory units. The theory behind lean production and service improvement methodologies is covered in the first unit along with the preparation for a service improvement project at work. In the second unit, learners then implement their project – reporting and evaluating the outcomes.
