What’s the difference between trial membership and professional membership?
Trial membership is provided to anyone who is registered for an ILM qualification or endorsed or development programme. It is free of charge for six months and brings access to our full range on online membership services, focused on your needs as a learner. Trial Members can’t use post nominal letters (eg MInstLM) or vote in ILM elections, and they don't receive a printed copy of Edge magazine.
Professional membership grades are reserved for people with proven management experience and/or qualifications, or aspiring leaders and managers. Professional members pay an annual membership fee and receive the full range of membership services. These include professional recognition via post nominal letters, Edge magazine by post as well as by email, free e-learning modules, free legal helpline, use of the online leadership, team building and mental toughness tools and many more services.
