As the largest management body in Europe, ILM is uniquely placed to share its expertise in leadership and management development and best-practice. We operate a UK-wide team of specialist consultants who work closely with employers and human resource development professionals from across all industries and sectors to help them devise and build expert training programmes that meet their specific skills. 

With customers ranging from small business to local government, we are able to support and advise on all aspects of leadership and management development, including:

• The design, build and delivery of effective leadership and management programmes 
• Mapping the content and assessment of existing development programmes to the requirements of ILM qualifications or endorsed and development programmes
• Assistance gaining ILM approval for programmes
• Support in establishing and operating internal quality assurance systems and procedures
• Training and development support for staff on delivering and assessing leadership and management development programmes
• Assess or and Verifier support and guidance.

Research services

ILM's specialist research staff, working in conjunction with selected research partners, is able to undertake large, medium or small research projects in the broad area of leadership and management development and practice. We can undertake research with staff in your own organisation, in other organisations and through partnership with our panels of leaders and managers. Our research services include:

• Secondary research and literature reviews
• Data collection and analysis
• Quantitative research using personal or telephone interview and web-based or postal self-completion questionnaires
• Qualitative surveys, using semi-structured in-depth interviews  and focus groups

As well as designing and undertaking research on your behalf, we can also advise you on your own research activities and review research that you have commissioned or undertaken.
