Social Enterprise

ILM’s aim is to offer unrivalled flexibility to meet the needs of individuals and organisations in the Social Enterprise sector with its unit-based qualifications – blending generic topics with an understanding of the specialist needs of the sector.

How ILM supports the sector

ILM, in partnership with Baker Brown Associates and Social Enterprise London has developed a suite of vocationally-related qualifications (VRQs) especially for business advisors working in this specialised sector – incorporating not-for-profit organisations and those who use their profits to further social, community or environmental objectives.

The suite comprises a set of five stand-alone, single unit Awards:

  • Level 5 Award in Understanding Social Enterprise *
  • Level 5 Award in Promoting Social Enterprise
  • Level 5 Award in Developing Social Enterprises
  • Level 5 Award in Sustaining Social Enterprises
  • Level 5 Award in Personal Professional Development *

The two Awards marked (*) plus any one of the other three combine to give a Level 5 Certificate in Social Enterprise Support.

All five Awards combine to give a Level 5 Diploma in Social Enterprise Support.
