Staff at London Luton Airport Operations Ltd are winning awards with the support of Barnfield College. 22 members of its workforce have received prestigious the Level 3 Award in First Line Management from ILM.

The ILM courses were run at Barnfield's 24/7 airport training facility, one of the few on-site airport training centres in the country. Certificates were presented by Glynn Jones, the London Luton Airport Operations Ltd Managing Director, and Pete Birkett, Barnfield's Chief Executive and Chairman of Barnfield Academies, at a special event held at the pioneering training facility.

The award winners were: Jackie Bowry, Chad Doherty, Lynda Edwards, Gerard Francois, Ian Garratt, Pablo Gomez, Mark Graves, Del Hart, Karen Hartigan, Martyn Hooton, Melanie Horwood, Kirstien Howard, Matt Lee, Melanie Mattinson, Pete Meehan, Rose Muscella, Kamal Patel, Patrick Sammon, Stuart Sinclair, Stephen Stewart, Mick West, Samantha Woodfield.

Barnfield College is a Centre of Vocational Excellence for Airport Operations.
